Growing up in Oklahoma during the 50’s, my heroes were always cowboys (and Mickey Mantle, of course). It might have been my relatives who owned a spread in Claremore, or, my Grandmother, at her ranch in Sapulpa. However, it mostly was the radio as it blared the lastest exploits of Gene, Roy, Hoppy and even Lash LaRue. I couldn’t help seeing myself right there on the open range chasing after the “bad guys”.

After a many year career as a Management and Marketing consultant in the East, it took my partner Lynné to re-introduce me to the icons of the Old West. Her cowboy boot collection is nearing 100 great pairs of awesome boots.
